Condé Nast Traveller Middle East one of the most influential travel publications in the world has featured Sri Lanka in its prestigious best hotels guide, handpicking 22 properties across the island as among the finest places to stay in 2026.
The selection spans the full length of the country, from the colonial grandeur of Galle Face Hotel in Colombo and Amangalla inside the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort, to the remote wilderness of Gal Oya Lodge and the tea-scented hillsides of Ceylon Tea Trails. Even the lesser-visited north and east coast made the cut a clear sign that Sri Lanka’s hospitality scene is being recognised well beyond its usual tourist hotspots.
